みむろ杉 純米吟醸 渡船弐号

This is Jeffrey from Hong Kong and this is my first time doing review on SAKE TIME. I just got this lovely bottle of Mimurosugi from Japan last week. It is my first time trying 渡船弐号 and knowing that its the first time Mimurosugi to use this Sakemai, I was very excited prior to its arrival and it certainly did not disappoint me in the end.
First would like to talk about the overall feeling to me, it is extremely subtle, full of essence of the brewery's craftsmanship level. It is extremely silky and smooth, just like the other types of Mimurosugi.
Regarding to the overall taste, I am quite surprise as it is my first time trying 渡船弐号, but it is definitely a remarkable one. It begins with the flagrance of Yamadanishiki (more subtle), and as I drink it, a very subtle taste of melon emerges and switches into bitterness of lemon skin within few seconds, the finishing is extremely sharp and fresh, it is definitely an extremely high level one and would recommend to people who are looking into some high level sake.
To conclude, tho it is my first review on SAKE TIME, but I have been a lover of Mimurosugi since 2018 (if I am correct), my first ever from this brewery was Dio Abita and the experience, up until now is still extremely remarkable, looking forward to try more and provide more reviews

I never tried Mimurosugi, but will do sometime soon. I don't know how easy, or how difficult it is to purchase Japanese Sake in HK, but it's good to know that there are people outside of Japan who likes Japanese Sake.
